HOW TO REACH THE BOSCO DI TECCHIE



Directions

Reach Cantiano via the SP Flaminia from Rome or Fano up to 225 kms.
To reach the Bosco di Tecchie from Cantiano you drive for 6 km along a road which leads to open countryside and goes up the gentle hills of Serre. From the village drive to the exit of E78 and take the junction for Rome; at the exit of the slip road the first set of directions for Bosco di Tecchie appear. The paved road starts from this point, which after having wound its way around fields and rural houses, passes the small village of San Crescentino and flanks the Balbano torrent. At the end of the road, we go past a small bridge and climb up to the departure point of the trail: after a series of bends on a not very smooth road surface, we arrive within a few minutes at Ca' Balbano di Sopra, a visitors centre from which the trail arriving at the very heart of Bosco di Tecchie leaves.
