The Biodiversity Trail
Duration: 90 minutes
Level of difficulty: Difficult.
This trail starts at the
visitors centre Ca Balbano and winds along the
footpath that leads to the Bosco di Tecchie park. It
is made up of seven stations which allow the visitor
to gain an awareness of the biodiversity present in
an environment.
The methods used are those of carrying out practical
experiments which not only encourage people to read
information, but invite them also to discover,
compare, resolve puzzles and carry out surveys. The
programme encourages people to have fun whilst
learning and is aimed at families or groups of
friends who want to spend time together sharing
pleasant experiences. The trail reaches Ca Tecchie
and then goes back to the centre using a new path
and therefore going round a circular route. The aim
of this trail is to enable visitors to acquire some
tools which will enrich their appreciation of the
wood.
